The Standards Generating Body for Pharmacy will define the education and training required to equip learners with the capabilities needed to practise pharmacy in South Africa within the parameters of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). It will generate the qualifications and standards to identify the expertise, knowledge and skills necessary to meet the pharmaceutical needs of South African people.

The project plan will outline the process that will be followed by the SGB, and will determine the estimated costs that will be incurred.
