National Awards 2011





The South African Pharmacy Council is participating in the 2011 National Department of Health’s “Quality in Excellence in Healthcare Awards” held annually in November. These Quality Awards pay tribute to the outstanding achievements of men and women in the health profession, and the South African Pharmacy Council takes advantage of the opportunity to honour outstanding individuals in the pharmacy profession.These prestigious awards will be sponsored by Aspen Pharmacare, Clicks Pharmacy and Medirite Pharmacy (Shoprite Checkers (Pty) Ltd) and serve as a testimony of the quality service our professionals are rendering to the public. Reports we have received bear witness to the improvement of service delivery.The prestigious South African Pharmacy Council/Aspen Pharmacare, Clicks Pharmacy and Medirite Pharmacy awards will be given to the 2011 National Pharmacist of the Year and the 2011 National Pharmacist’s Assistant of the Year. With these awards the council salutes individuals across all fields of the pharmacy profession, who are clearly aligned with council’s vision of ensuring quality pharmaceutical services for all the people of South Africa.

WHO CAN ENTER?
  • Any pharmacist/qualified post-basic pharmacist’s assistant resident in SA
WHO MAY NOT ENTER?
  • Councillors, pharmacists in the Office of the Registrar and their immediate families.
  • Winners of previous awards can only be nominated again after 5 years, and nominators must indicate how the current submission differs from the previous submission.
